4.2.3 Disposition of first article samples. First article sample shall not be considered as part
of the procurement quantities (see 6.2).
4.2.4 Inspection procedures. Unless otherwise specified herein, the Detector-Dewar shall be
operated at an input voltage of 3.0 ±0.2 Vdc at ambient temperature (see 6.4) when operated at
temperature of 80K, 5°K, and biased to +3.0, 0.2 Vdc.
4.3 Conformance inspection.
4.3.1 Group A Inspection. Group A inspection shall be conducted on all (100 percent) of the
Detector-Dewars following the successful inspection of 4.2 and preconditioning of 3.9. Group A
tests listed in Table III may be performed in any order except that Detector-Dewar defects (see
3.5.1) shall be run last.
