4.3.1.2 Group B inspection. Not required.
4.3.1.3 Group C inspection. Group C inspection shall be conducted on auxiliary control
modules selected from units which have passed the tests in 4.3.1.1. The sample(s) shall be tested
in accordance with the inspections listed in table IV. Samples shall be selected in accordance with
4.3.1.3.1 Group C tests listed in table IV may be performed in any order.
4.3.1.3.1 Sampling for group C inspection. Group C inspection samples shall be selected

4.3.1.3.2 Group C failures. Actions required relative to group C failures shall be as
specified in the contract (see 6.2).
4.3.1.3.3 Disposition of group C samples. Group C samples shall be accepted on contract
subsequent to the tests of table III.
4.3.1.3.4 Group D inspection. Not required.
4.4 Test methods.
4.4.1 Input power. The input power for both high power and low power modes shall be
measured with 10-ohm resistors, rated at 2 watts minimum each, connected to each of the outputs
of the on-board regulators. Failure to meet the requirements of 3.5.1 shall constitute failure of
this test.
4.4.2 IR level and gate output. The IR level and gate output shall be measured with an
oscilloscope. The gate input shall be a 60 Hz, 0 to -6 volt square wave signal (amplitude and duty
cycle adjustable). The IR level input shall be varied with an external 10,000 ohm potentiometer.
